Applications:
GI40/2 is a passive piezoelectric acoustic emission sensor with integrated preamplifier, it does not need to be connected to the additional preamplifier, so simplifying the wiring work. GI40/2 was designed for working underground or underwater, it could be used underground for monitoring geologic structures like slope. and could be used for monitoring leakage and corrosion of storage tanks or valves and for also detecting partial discharge.
